Campaign Finance Reform is Progressive Issue # 1

No matter what causes are important to you – progressives will always be at a disadvantage, unless and until, campaign financing is completely reformed to reflect the principle of 'one person, one vote.'

We hold these truths to be self-evident:

1. Corporations are not people.

2. Money is not speech.

3. People are more important than property.

4. The right of assembly includes the right to unionize.

5. Corporatism is not capitalism.

6. Transparency is good.

7. Current campaign laws are anti-democratic.
